Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has launched activities of the First Annual Conference of Post Graduate Studies for Applied Science which was held by cooperation between Post Graduate Studies sector and The Board of Directors of Benha Journal of Applied Sciences. The Conferences is going to be held in the period from 7-8 of May, 2022 under auspices of Dr. Ali Shams El-Din, former president of Benha University and Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research , Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi, supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Dr. Samir Hammad, Deputy Governor of Qalyubia, a number of college deans, and Dr. Ghada Amer, Faculty of Engineering Deputy for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs. In his Speech, Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President stressed that the Egyptian state, with its various academic and research institutions, is keen to adopt the concept of innovation and creativity and encourage scientific research. He also added that Benha University is committed to its role in the society and seeks to achieve the University Vision and mission in developing and solving problems of its society , providing a stimulating environment for teaching, learning and scientific research and maximizing partnership with the local and regional community and linking its strategic and research plan to the state's strategic objectives and Egypt's Vision 2030, in a way that serves the national economy, national projects, and the state's policy towards sustainable development. For his part , Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research confirmed that the conference will discuss four main points as following : Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Clinical and Health Medical Sciences and Basic Sciences. He also mentioned that 80 scientific researches will participate in the conference. El Gizawy pointed out that the conference aims to build the capacities of young researchers and graduate students in order to achieve the University's vision, mission and strategic objectives. He added that the conference also comes within the framework of the University's Postgraduate studies and research sector's keenness to integrate scientific research with industry by establishing technology incubators that invest in the outputs of scientific research and provide an appropriate environment for scientific research.
