Webometrics Global Ranking 2015: New Honorable Achievement for Benha University E-portal
Congratulations to Benha University for this honorable achievement of the E-portal which achieved new global achievement in Webometrics Global Ranking, January 2015. It has got the third place at the level of the Egyptian Public Universities after Cairo and Mansoura and the fourth place at the level of the Egyptian Public and Private Universities after AUC, Cairo, and Mansoura.
It is worth mentioning that the E-portal has got the 12th place in the Arab world and the 16th place in Africa as well as the 1419th place at the level of the Global Ranking.
Thanks and appreciation to all who contributed and participated in making this success, especially the unlimited support of the University President, the University Vice-presidents and Deans in addition to the continuous efforts of the E-portal team to achieve that success.

Benha University Council: Egypt faces a Battle against Terrorism
In its meeting on Monday16/02/2015 under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has mourned the martyrs who had been murdered at the hands of terrorism in Libya.
The Council said in its statement which announced by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din that Egypt faces a battle against terrorism and the national support for our political leadership is an obligation to face extremism and terrorist groups.

Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia in the frame of inspection visit to the University faculties and the hostels in addition to the new facilities aiming to improve the education system.
