The candidature is open for the deanship position in the faculty of science from Saturday, 18-2-2017 to Thursday, 23-2-2017 in the office of vice president of the stduents and educational affairs. The candidates should meet the following requirements:

1-    The candidate should fill a professor position in the faculty and the out posted professors will not be accepted.

2-    The partisan professors will not be accepted.

3-    The candidate shouldn’t be penalized and if so, the penalty should be taken away by the specialized authority.

4-    The candidate shouldn’t be sentenced to any crimes.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves on a two-week extension period for funding the research projects starting from Sunday, 19-2-2017. Such decision is taken upon a meeting with the young researchers during a workshop in the faculty of veterinary medicine. Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb El-Naby, the university president of scientific research says that there are 45 researchers, from nine faculties in the university, who apply for such event. He also adds that this two-week extension period aims at letting the researchers being funded.  It is important to say that the fund is about 200,000 L.E. for the single research project and there should be no less than 10 competitively-chosen research projects that have to be funded.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research states, in the meeting of the supreme committee of the international ranking on wendesday 15-2-2017, that it has been approved, Under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, to open the door to apply for the fourth round to win theinternational publishing and citations awards for one month starting from Sunday, 19-2-2017.  Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb Naby, the university president chancellor of the scientific research says that the faculty’s members can apply for this round via an application that is available on Benha university portal. The faculty’s members can log into this application by using his/ her user name and the password as follows:
