History

Faculty of Science at Benha University is considered on of the educational constitutions which follow Minister of High Education. The Faculty has been established according to the presidential decree No (278) for 1981. The 1st patch graduated from the Faculty in the academic year 1984\1985. The University has gotten its independence according to the presidential decree No (84) for 2005 and it includes seven departments; Botany, Geology, Entomology, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
The Faculty provides 22 programs and it has applied accredited hours system on the 1st level in 2009\2010 and it also participates at solving several problems at the Community.
